Magnetic particle testing

Magnetic powder adheres to the defect, causing the defect to expand! Introducing an inspection method suitable for ferromagnetic materials.

Magnetic Particle Testing is a suitable inspection method for detecting flaws near the surface of ferromagnetic materials. When a test specimen with cracks or other flaws in the surface or just below the surface is magnetized, magnetic flux leaks from the flaws, creating magnetic poles. When magnetic particles are sprinkled on the surface of the test specimen, they adhere to the flaw, enlarging it and making detection easier. 【Features】 ■ Applicable only to ferromagnetic materials ■ Effective for surface flaws ■ An effective inspection method for crack-like flaws ■ In places where outdoor or dark conditions are not possible, color magnetic particles (white, black, etc.) that do not require black light are used. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Magnetic Particle Inspection "Non-Destructive Testing" [Safety and Security]

Peace of mind and safety! This is a development service that offers non-destructive testing using magnetic particle inspection equipment.

It is ideal for cost-effective product development in a short time since non-destructive testing can be conducted simultaneously with development. Magnetic particle testing is referred to in English as MT or MPT (Magnetic Particle Testing), and it can detect surface-opening defects (cracks) and subsurface defects by magnetizing the test specimen.

Jasco Magnetic Particle Inspection

This is an inspection technique used for welding joint inspections of large tanks (new installations, open inspections) and various small parts inspections.

If there are defects on the surface of the test specimen and just below the surface, the passage of magnetic flux is hindered, leaking into the space and generating magnetic poles on both sides of the defect, creating a magnetic field.

LED Black Light "Mid Bean 2.0" *For Magnetic Particle Inspection

Detects even the finest scratches! LED black light that can be used wirelessly. Also available in an aircraft-compatible version.

The "Mid Bean 2.0" from Nippon Electromagnetic Measuring Instruments is a light that emits ultraviolet rays (ultraviolet inspection lamp) used in the observation process of magnetic particle testing. In magnetic particle testing, when a black light is irradiated onto the test specimen in a dark room, the fluorescent liquid and fluorescent magnetic particles emit a clear pattern of fluorescence, allowing for the detection of fine cracks. This product can be used with a battery or connected with a cable. In addition to the standard version, there is also an aircraft-compatible version. 【Features】 ■ Heavy industrial specifications, dustproof and waterproof measures ■ Composed of 4 LEDs for stable ultraviolet irradiation ■ Equipped with a battery indicator for checking battery levels ■ Includes a guide white light in the center ■ Aircraft version available *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

It is used for inspecting the welded parts of tanks, the tooth surfaces of gears, and the entire surface of bolts!

"MT" is a magnetic particle testing method that uses magnetic force to detect surface and subsurface defects. It can only be applied to ferromagnetic materials, but it is an effective inspection method for crack-like defects. It is used for inspecting welds on tanks, gear tooth surfaces, and the entire surface of bolts, among others. 【Features】 - Detects surface and subsurface defects using magnetic force - Effective for crack-like defects - Usable for inspecting welds on tanks, gear tooth surfaces, and the entire surface of bolts *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.
